He leans into that closeness, just enjoying it as he puts the pieces together in his head before he actually speaks.

"I don't know exactly why the wedding was called off, though I suspect the drama had something to do with it," he says softly "but making a fuss like that, kicking everybody out... he did it to draw attention to him. To make it his scandal, rather than Jin Ling's. He did it to protect our nephew...."

It's only speculation, really, but he's so sure he's right.
