"Stupid." Jin Ling grumbles and finishes his drink. He reaches for the bottle to refill it. He'd really hoped Wei Wuxian would be easier to talk to. That somehow there'd just magically be some obvious way to share what was bothering him in a way that wouldn't be humiliating or childish, but of course there hadn't been. Granted, that really had a lot more to do with Ling than Wuxian, but it was frustrating. He knows he can't talk to Jiang Cheng about this, so he'd thought there would be a chance with someone less conventional but.. sadly, you still had to actually talk to explain the situation. Why couldn't he just know?
