"You've a friend right here whose done far more than read books," he points out as the social menace that he was. "Besides, you know how backward those Lans can be. Don't you think you'll be waiting forever if you wait for him? Show some initiative Zizhen! He doesn't always have to be in charge does he? It gets tiring even for the best of us."
